What this covers
These SMS Terms apply to messages from Knight Law Group, LLP, doing business as Online Addiction Lawyer, about inquiry follow-up and appointments. Company personnel attend to replies. We may use LeadWire or Twilio to deliver messages. The sending number may change; our messages identify Online Addiction Lawyer.
Consent
When you check the optional consent box on our case review form, you agree that we may call and text you at the number you provide about your inquiry, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any service. You can submit the same case review form without checking the box. Consent to messages does not authorize sharing your inquiry with another law firm or create an attorney-client relationship.
We record the date, time and exact wording of the consent language you agreed to, along with the page it appeared on. We do this so that both you and we have an accurate record of what was agreed.
What we send
Messages are limited to following up on your inquiry and arranging or reminding you of appointments. We do not send promotional campaigns or offers from other companies. Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, questionnaire answers or other sensitive health details by text message.
Frequency
Message frequency varies according to your inquiry, appointments and interactions with our team.
Cost
We do not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, and your carrier’s standard plan terms govern what you are charged.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will send one confirmation and then stop texting that number. You can also ask us to stop by calling (424) 239-1054 or emailing privacy@onlineaddictionlawyer.com. Opting out of texts does not withdraw a request for a case review and does not end any representation. If we are representing you, we will reach you another way.
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at the number or email above.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Changing your number
If you give up or change a mobile number you gave us, please tell us. Otherwise messages intended for you may reach whoever receives that number next.
Emergencies
Text messaging is not monitored continuously and is not a crisis service. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your phone number and message content. We may use LeadWire or Twilio to deliver messages. We do not sell your mobile number or SMS consent information, or share them with third parties for their own marketing. Messaging providers may process the information necessary to deliver the messages you request.
