1. The agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Knight Law Group, LLP, a California limited liability partnership doing business as Online Addiction Lawyer (“we,” “us” or “the firm”). They govern your use of this website and any related pages we operate. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Your relationship with us
Knight Law Group, LLP is a law firm. This website is attorney advertising. Using the site, submitting the case review form, emailing us or calling us does not by itself mean that the firm has accepted your case. Please provide only the information requested in the case review form. Our full Disclaimer explains this and is part of these terms.
Information on this site is general and may not reflect the most recent legal developments. Nothing here is legal advice about your situation.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and to provide truthful, accurate and complete information in any form you submit. You agree not to:
- submit information about another person without the authority to do so
- use the site to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory or infringing material
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or overload the site
- submit any information on behalf of a living person under 18 unless you are that person’s parent or legal guardian
4. What you send us
The case review form asks about a child’s health and experiences. Please send only what the form asks for. Do not upload or send medical records, photographs, images of a minor, passwords or account credentials through this site.
We handle what you send in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, where it concerns health, our Consumer Health Data Policy. We protect information from prospective clients as required by applicable law, even when we do not accept the case. Internet transmission is never completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us over the internet.

The text, design, graphics and arrangement of this site are owned by the firm or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell, or create derivative works from the site’s content without our written permission.

This site links to outside resources, including crisis services and published research. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the firm nor its partners, attorneys or staff will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the California Rules of Professional Conduct.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of California. Disputes relating to use of this website will be resolved in the competent courts in Los Angeles, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. The terms of legal representation will be set out in a separate agreement.
